Nancy Beck has a unique blend of public, not for profit, and private sector experience in mental health Recovery that spans 30 years. Through strategic & authentic leadership she has guided the development of many successful community mental health initiatives in Canada and internationally.
Nancy’s international career focuses on advocacy, training, and mental health Recovery. Nancy’s greatest strength is her ability to collaborate with stakeholders to integrate mental health best practices while respecting local culture. The result being the development of culturally relevant locally owned mental health supports.
Nancy is often referred to as a social entrepreneur, who has successfully used social entrepreneurship as a way of working with entrenched social issues to create social change and lift people living with mental illness out of poverty.
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Social Work. ch

Keshav Desiraju has recently retired as Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Consumer Affairs. He was earlier Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, has served several years in the health sector both in the Government of India and in the Government of Uttarakhand and continues to remain engaged with the work of health sector non-profit organizations.
